Sending alerts

In the app, open Groups, pick a group and copy its URL. POST JSON with subject and description (form fields work too). The key can also go in an X-ZapaPush-Key header.

• 201 created / 200 updated: a new alert, or a repeat of an open one.
• 200 silenced: the alert is acked; it updates quietly until someone closes it.
• 429 too_soon: each group takes one post per minute. Wait for Retry-After.
• 403 banned: 10 rejected posts in 10 minutes block the key for an hour. The owner can rotate the key to unblock.

Not getting pushes?

• Check that notifications for ZapaPUSH are on in iOS Settings.
• Use Send a TEST push on the group's screen.
• Your phone makes a sound at most once a minute; other pushes in that minute arrive silently.

Delete your account

In the app: Settings → Delete account.
